Publications of the Extension Committe

In 2005, the Executive Committee of the National Academy of Sciences created an Extension Committee for scientific activities, within the scope of its competence.

The objective of this Committee is to awaken, fundamentally in children and young people, the concern for research through the dissemination of scientific issues, as a means of inducing knowledge of the objectives and methodology that is proposed by the scientific activity.

Among its activities, there are different competitions on works related to scientific topics which, when distinguished, are published annually.
